Connect Claude or ChatGPT

Ask about your data in plain language — "How did my visibility change last month?", "Which competitors have the highest visibility in ChatGPT?", "Which prompts don't name us at all?". The connection uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI assistants to other applications.

How to connect

The connection always starts in your AI assistant, not in citeme.eu.

1. In citeme.eu, open Account → AI assistants and copy the connection address.
2. Add it in your assistant:
   • Claude (desktop or web): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the address and confirm.
   • ChatGPT Business: Workspace settings → Apps → Create, enable Developer mode and paste the address.
   • ChatGPT Plus and Pro: Settings → Developer mode, add a new server and paste the address.
3. Your browser opens citeme.eu. Sign in and approve the connection. The approval screen shows which application is asking and what it will be able to do.

What a connected assistant can do

It can:

• read your brands, prompts, search queries, competitors and results;
• pause, add or reword the prompts and search queries you track.

It can't:

• delete anything, or change results that have already been collected;
• see other customers' data, your password or your payment details.

Prompts and search queries added through the connection count toward the same plan limits as those added in the app.

The same numbers as your dashboard

The assistant receives every figure exactly as your dashboard computes it, together with citeme.eu's own definitions of the metrics. So when you ask "what is my share of voice?", it explains it the way this documentation does — rather than guessing from the general meaning of the term — and it doesn't recompute numbers in a way that would disagree with what you see in the app.

Disconnecting

Connected assistants are listed under Account → AI assistants. Disconnect one there and its access ends immediately.
